NYCSS offers private lessons which provide quality instruction paired with the flexibility and convenience of working around your schedule. The individual attention of private lessons will polish skills and can fix problems early before they become a habit.
Pricing and Options
NYCSS will work with you to set up a lesson that meets your goals while staying within your budget.
Students have the option of working with Jared Kirby directly, a Senior NYCSS Instructor or with a Beginning Instructor. Please note the below rates include the cost of a training space.

Lessons with Jared
1-hour lesson = $225
2-hour lesson = $375
3-hour lesson = $500
*please note that Jared’s standard rate is $325/hr, but the above discounted rate is offered to non-corporate events/clients.*
Senior Instructors
$125 per hour
*Our Senior instructors bring over a decade of experience and can provide training in a variety of weapons and systems*
Beginning Instructors
$100 per hour
*These Instructors are only available for Unarmed Training*
NYCSS has a home studio located at 246 West 38th Street in Midtown (included in the price). If you have access to a cheaper (or free) space, our instructors may be able to travel to you (which would reduce the fee by $25/hr).
