An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, repeating until February 26, 2022
Whether on stage or in front of the camera, performing combat is a vital skill for an actor. This is why NYCSS invites you to hit the ground running with our Combat Performance Boot Camp!
NYCSS Specialized tracks return for the new year with a course designed for performers of all skill levels.
New Participants will learn fundamental unarmed skills including such things as:
- Punches
- Kicks
- Blocks/Parries
- Hair Pulls
- Falls/Rolls
- Chokes
- Ultimately these skills will be applied in a choreographed fight
Participants who have trained with NYCSS before will refine their skills as well as working on advanced applications such as:
- Kicks
- Performing combat for camera
- Camera awareness drills
- More complex choreography
Classes for this six-week track will be held Jaunary 15th, 29th and February 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th
