The Combat Simulation: Stage Combat Fitness
Join Zach Herman, a Personal Trainer, Kwon Do Black Belt, and Actor in an hour long class designed to enhance your strength, conditioning, and mobility to make you a more powerful performer, and healthier artist!
These 1 hour classes will include:
-Completely prepare the body to move, paying special attention to neck, back, shoulders and hips.
-Drills and authenticity of technique
-Cardiovascular conditioning (your form won’t suffer if you’re not tired)
-Minor plyometrics to prepare the body for high impact scenarios
-Quad strength for knee protection
-Hip & glute strength for balance and further knee protection
-Upper body strength to avoid sprains from falls and impacts
-Core strength & stability to prepare the body for advanced movements.
Mobility & Injury Prevention
-Protecting the Knees
-Hip flexor work, avoid tight hips
-Neck, condition the muscles to protect from whiplash
-Protect shoulders and rotator cuffs from injury
-Stretch and strengthen spine and core
